Ok, I need some help. The Ovation repair that I have in house is going good on the repair end. I will be re-fretting as well. I would like to be able to replace the saddle but have run into an issue. This guitar has a early eights model transducer type electronics package in it. It has a big fat plastic saddle with saw tooth type intonation steps. This thing is ?ā wide and is molded on to a metal ācā channel with indexing pins at each end. The transducer is molded into the plastic saddle. I have not seen one like it before, but I have not worked on any early model Ovations before. I would like to be able go though the set up on this box but have been unable to find a replacement saddle/transducer. Anyone have an Idea on who made this electronics package for Ovation. It has a single knob with split pot. Volume is on the upper part of the knob and bass/treble on the lower. I send pictures but Diane has my camera and will not be back for 6 more weeks. If worst comes to worst I could intonate at the nut if needed.
